Historical Ninney Rise opens its doors for conservation conversations In 1957 artist John Busst and his wife Alison moved from Bedarra Island to Bingil Bay and built Ninney Rise. They used local materials and did much of the construction work themselves. Read More |

Renowned coral scientist returns to Ninney Rise Charlie Veron was the first full-time researcher on the Great Barrier Reef and since that time has logged more than 6000 hours underwater. Diving since he was 18, Charlie has participated in 67 expeditions to all of the major reef regions of the world and has described more than a quarter of the world’s coral species. Read more |
