 Issue No1 November 2020 | . Ninney Rise (FoNR) held their 2020 AGM at Ninney Rise on a cool and pleasant afternoon on the verandahs of Ninney Rise. FoNR was delighted the Mayor of the Cassowary Coast Cr Mark Nolan, the Mayor's wife Marsha and Mission Beach Division 3 Cr Trudy Tschui attended the AGM. Elections for Executive returned the same team, Suzie Smith President, Sandal Hayes Secretary. and Liz Gallie Treasurer. Incoming Management Committee members are Patrick Bluett CEO Tropical Coast Tourism, a Representative of C4, Sally Moroney Mission Arts, Terry Carmichael Wet Tropics Management Authority, Helen Pedley historian and former Head librarian Tully Library and Christime McLean former teacher Tully State School. We thank them all for their commitment and interest. FoNR proudly announced their first edition of The Different Drum, a new quarterly community newsletter. (See left) |
After the meeting, members of Ninney Rise along with invited guests toured the rooms of Ninney Rise and had afternoon tea on the verandah.
