A lovely afternoon at a superb location! Around 40 people filled the verandahs of Ninney Rise on Sat 27th as they enjoyed the Nucifora tea leaves brewed in individual tea pots at each table. Eclectic tea cups, fancy table cloths and fresh flowers contributed to an atmosphere of friendship and a real sense of history. |
The Cutten brothers talks by Peter Kellett was riveting, a big thank you to Peter for his input and information.
Guests were entertained by 'Luja' the Gypsy whose tea leaf fortune telling had guests lining up as she rang the bell for the next reading!
Angi Matveyeff was in her element as chief organiser and wonderful 'Maitre Tea' Many thanks to Yvonne Cunningham for underpinning the afternoon with her flowers, tea, tea cups, lovely cakes and lively conversation. We look forward to the next Community Open Day, we are thinking of doing it all again!!!. A huge thanks to all who helped make this such a great afternoon.
